Great - and so are ours. But here are some everyday reasons a microchip alone isn’t enough to get your pet back home. 

* people don't walk around with scanners
* finders would need to actually take the animal to a vet or pound to be scanned
* not all finders even know where a vet or council pound might be
* not all vets have a scanner or access to the microchip database (Pet Search does!)
* microchips can and do slip and have even become 'lost' within an animal!

But My Pet Already Has An ID Tag
Excellent! - so do ours. But here are a few reasons an ordinary ID tag won't get your pet back home every time.

* personal ID tags are the last thing most people remember to update when they change addresses or phone numbers
* having an address on your tag is a real 'no-no'. Anyone can call you away from the house to ‘collect your pet’ and then go and rob you!
